Gohomiee is a home-cook food marketplace currently operating in Kozhikode, Kerala, where customers browse daily home-cooked menus and order directly, with the home chef preparing and packing the food fresh, and Gohomiee handling delivery.
Customers who want fresh, home-cooked food regularly have limited options today — eating from a restaurant daily isn’t sustainable, hiring a maid is expensive, and joining a mess means poor quality with no choice. At the same time, skilled home cooks have no simple way to turn their cooking into income.
Gohomiee solves both sides of this: customers get convenient access to home-cooked food nearby, and home chefs get a platform to list what they cook and earn from it, with minimal investment to get started. Revenue comes from a commission on each order. The roadmap includes launching a dedicated app and growing cook density city by city.
