We have developed an efficient heating technology called Multiple Magnetron Heating (MUMAH) system.
MUMAH employs multiple low capacity magnetrons on a rotating middle shaft in a single chamber without wave interference thereby enabling scalability to many 1000’s of liters. MUMAH can be used for dehydration of agricultural / marine/ food produce to generate value added products from waste. Microwave heats the substrate and not the vessel, employs vacuum for 80% higher efficiency, preserves nutrition, supports solar power. MUMAH can rapidly dehydrate perishables like vegetables, meat, sea food/ fish, convert vegetable peels, poultry/slaughter house/fish waste into animal feed and food waste into biofuel etc, thereby helping producers control price, generate secondary income for farmers and fishermen and enable local economy. MUMAH can pasteurize milk, dry ceramic moulds, also finds applications in solvent removal in herbal and agro-chemical industries. We expect a market potential of around 100 crores in five years
