Fuselage Flying Club is in the process of establishing a DGCA-certified Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO) focused on delivering practical, industry-ready drone training in India. The program is being designed to address the urgent need for certified UAV pilots across high-growth sectors like agriculture, infrastructure, logistics, and disaster management.

Core components of the curriculum include drone flight operations, simulation-based mission training, airspace regulations, UAV system integration, and preventive maintenance. Learners will engage with both rotary and fixed-wing platforms, understand payload configurations (RGB, thermal, multispectral), and develop familiarity with key tools such as ground control stations, flight log systems, and real-time telemetry dashboards.

Training modules are being mapped to DGCA’s CAR guidelines and will be delivered through a mix of classroom sessions, simulator labs, field practice zones, and drone assembly workstations. Emphasis is placed on hands-on skill development students won’t just study drones, they’ll fly them, build them, and maintain them.

To ensure inclusivity, subsidized and scholarship-based models are being built into the program, especially for rural and underrepresented youth. Career pathways are being integrated through a “train-and-hire” model, with partnerships already in motion across AgriTech startups, Deeptech startups, drone service providers, and public sector missions.

The RPTO will serve as a launchpad for over 5,000 learners annually, equipping them with real, applicable skills for India’s rapidly expanding UAV ecosystem not as a one-off course, but as a gateway to long-term employment, innovation, and entrepreneurship in unmanned aviation.
