WallGrid is a construction-robotics machine designed to automate the repetitive process of wall plastering and levelling on construction sites. The V0.1 prototype uses a compact wheeled base, twin vertical guide rails and a motorised plastering carriage with a floating, spring-loaded trowel/blade.
The operator positions the machine against an internal wall, stabilises it, connects an external mortar supply and controls the vertical plastering pass. The machine is designed to maintain a consistent plastering movement and finish while reducing the amount of repetitive manual work required from plastering crews.
