Ours is the first OTT service in Kerala, besides offering movie content, focuses on local content
completely exclusive for the subscribers. Our platform is going to promote the entire Malayali
diaspora an opportunity to connect to its roots (our entity is also named as Roots) through the
services. Our entity will exclusively concentrate on movies and programs of regional languages
across the world, which is not available in popular OTT platforms till date. There will be 40 Regional
unreleased films in 10 different languages with English subtitles.
We will stream the content through mobile applications with a vision to help Malayalis across the
world to discover content that is close to their heart.
We will be uploading new regional movies on a weekly basis. Apart from this, we will have
interviews and other entertainment creative activities. The platform will also offer an alternative
space for talented young creators to excel their profession in digital media.
Roots will showcase not only Malayalam films but also those from other languages and from other
parts of the world.
