The start-up is looking for solutions to reverse this situation by identifying healthy coexisting microbiota that can serve as food preservatives, probiotics for gut microbiota, etc., benefiting life through their natural activities. Kerala, being one of the hotspots of biodiversity is a goldmine of microbiota. Identifying and sharing it with the world is the greatest service we can do for humanity and all forms of life. To this goal, we propose mapping the sources and characteristics of different microbes across the state, along with their physical and ecological traits, to classify and isolate strains that can be transferred as substitutes for use in FSSAI-certified products to restore people's health.
