The Problem
Important exams decide careers, licenses, and admissions. However, most preparation methods simply give more content to every learner. Books changed into videos, and PDFs changed into question banks. Coaching centers became mobile applications, but the basic model did not change. Learners just consume more information and hope they are ready.
The Solution: MARS
MARS (Meta-Adaptive Remediation System) is Cytostack’s adaptive readiness engine for important exams. It changes the traditional model completely.
Instead of forcing the learner to adapt to a fixed system, MARS adapts the system to the learner. It analyzes each candidate's answers, confidence levels, repeated mistakes, weak topics, and memory gaps. Next, it adjusts what the learner needs to practice, continuously helps fix weak areas, and calculates if the learner is truly ready for the actual exam.
Development and First Markets
Cytostack built MARS over two years using learning science, analysis of real learner behavior, multiple product updates, and live commercial testing.
Medicine was our first test area because the founder of Cytostack is a doctor who understands exactly why students fail these exams. MARS is currently active in two products:
Market Validation and Revenue
Our strongest proof of success came from PrepCMS in 2026. Exactly 92 candidates reached the readiness target on our platform, and all 92 of them passed the actual UPSC CMS written exam.
PrepMCQ and PrepCMS generated ₹7.5 lakh in revenue from February 2026 to August 2026. Cytostack has already reached its financial break-even point with these two products.
The Long-Term Vision
These two products are only the proof of success, not the limit for MARS.
Our long-term business opportunity is to offer MARS to institutions, coaching organizations, universities, and certification providers. These groups already have their own study content, but they lack a system to provide personalized readiness tracking for their students.
Cytostack is changing exam preparation from simple content delivery to intelligent readiness tracking. Our first two products were just the test. MARS is the actual product.
