The proposed product called Smart Farm Cube based on IoT technology supported by mobile applications and cloud server usage is a hydroponic product line designed for indoor use. This is a live demonstration unit to show how to combat poor eating and nutrition habits of people by using contemporary consumer culture to influence food behaviour in the developed world by producing organic vegitables, fruits and herbal plants for consumption.

The cube consist of a tray section for seed implant that is hydroponically grown, which means there is no use of soil and only water is used for growing the plants. The box is fitted with ultra efficient LED lights as an alternative source for sunlight and is connected to a pump set for supplying nutrients mixed with water. The box contains different sensors for temperature and humidity for growth environment measurement to apply the required corrections. The light, nutrient and water supply are all remotely and automatically controlled by a mobile based application. A cloud server remotely placed will store the historical data of growth environment and analyse the data to control the automation
