3rDi 4 All - AR Indoor Navigation App for the Visually Impaired with Obstacle Detection

3rDi 4 All pronounced Third Eye For All is an augmented reality indoor navigation mobile app for the visually impaired with obstacle detection and avoidance. This app uses voice interaction and gives turn-by-turn voice cues to help in indoor navigation in unfamiliar spaces. It also detects and warns the user of real-time obstacles. This helps in proper navigation for the visually impaired. It is difficult for the visually impaired to navigate in unfamiliar spaces like Government offices, hospitals, airports, department stores and malls. The app uses google ARCore technology with metadata to voice the area of interest. The indoor space  is scanned with it's associated metadata and path planning done. This is then downloaded into the app when the user is at the scanned address. Another version uses cloud anchors with metadata. This can be also used as a pickup and drop device. This device with multilingual support can also be used by tourist to navigate unfamiliar spaces
