Arecanut palm is made into slats roughly of 4-5mm thick,8-10mm wide and to the required length.Strands of diameter 3-6mm also can be made. Woven with Banana fiber.This can be done manually or using machines .Can be chemically treated . We employ rural and tribal people.

These blinds can be covered using banana fiber cloth in the back side to control light entering the room.
