Biomass Briquettes: Biomass Briquettes are mostly made of green waste and other organic materials. They are commonly used for electricity generation, heat and as cooking fuel. Water Hyacinth and other aquatic weeds are traditionally a waste, but form a great source of biomass which can be converted to useful fuel. Compared to fossil fuels, the biomass briquettes produce low net total greenhouse gas emissions because the materials used are already a part of the carbon cycle.
