Crab Bot is an indigenous AI-powered disaster rescue robot developed by DAYTX Pvt Ltd to address the limitations of current search-and-rescue operations. It features a unique hybrid locomotion system combining multi-legged crawling, wheel-track movement, and screw propulsion, enabling it to traverse rubble, mud, waterlogged terrain, and confined spaces.
The robot integrates advanced sensor fusion including thermal imaging, CO₂ detection, heartbeat sensors, and acoustic analysis to identify live victims with high accuracy. Using SLAM-based navigation and AI-driven terrain analysis, Crab Bot autonomously maps disaster zones and optimizes rescue paths.
It provides real-time data transmission through IoT connectivity, allowing remote monitoring and control via mobile or cloud dashboards. The modular design ensures cost-effectiveness, easy maintenance, and scalability for different disaster scenarios.
