Problem Statement
In recent years, India’s electrical energy consumption has been increasing due to population growth, economic development and rural electrification. Environmental concerns pose strong requirements on electricity production, which is responsible for a major portion of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions linked to global warming and the greenhouse effect. Due to increasing demand and environment concern, the integration of renewable energy source (RES) to power system is increasing day by day. The RES such as solar, wind turbine, fuel cells are intrinsically DC power sources.
Solutions
By introducing Low Voltage Direct Current (LVDC) Nanogrid system for home applications can eliminate huge conversion losses in a Solar PV hybrid home. That is Low voltage side is dealing with DC distribution system within building structures. There for this LVDC architecture can eliminate the multiple conversions within a building can be eliminated.
