Erminex, is a wall-climbing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) rover designed to automate the inspection of metallic surfaces such as ship hulls, ballast tanks, water/oil/chemical tanks and dockyard structures while vessels are in dry dock. The rover eliminates the need for scaffolding or rope access by climbing vertical and curved surfaces, ensuring complete coverage of areas that are difficult or dangerous for humans to reach.

Equipped with ultrasonic and visual sensors, Erminex can track welds, detect cracks, corrosion, and internal defects without damaging the material. It also generates a 3D defect map, providing engineers with precise, visual data for structural assessment and maintenance planning.
