As an e-commerce platform, the local artisans and the weaving community of Kerala were in need to promote their products. The e-commerce website www.keralasaree.com aims to provide products ( Handloom and Power loom) and also designer services to the common man at an affordable price. This initiative is aiming to increase the revenue of the local artisans.  As we grow, we would like to have multiple designer services wherein a common man has the ability to choose the designers and their products. Traditional weavers do not have sufficient technical capabilities and expertise to build solutions that can help them in scaling their business. We aim to bridge the gap by providing the necessary manufacturers and distributors with the solution to scale. We are also providing the premium service of a professional designer to the common middle class and empowering them to build their own attire and be involved in the making of their clothes. This will help in democratizing the designer services to the common man and also in generating the revenue of locally produced products.
