We build Malayalam-first OCR and extraction, deployed on-premise for government and institutional customers.
WHAT IT DOES:
Malayalam Document AI converts Malayalam documents into structured, searchable data:
• Printed Malayalam text
• Handwritten Malayalam
• Old-script (pazhaya lipi) records
• Forms and registers, extracted into structured fields
Who it is for
Government departments, local self-government bodies, archives, libraries, colleges and cooperative societies in Kerala that hold large volumes of Malayalam paper records.
Why it is different
• Malayalam-first: built and evaluated for Malayalam, not adapted from English.
• On-premise by design: runs on hardware the institution owns, so sensitive records never leave its network.
• Runs on modest hardware: sized for ordinary servers and workstations, not rented GPU clusters.
What it is built on
• A curated Malayalam and English corpus of 47.5 million tokens (as of June 2026), checked by native Malayalam speakers.
• Araskova's Malayalam evaluation benchmark: 200 real-world administrative queries scored against four leading AI models (GPT-4o, Gemini 1.5 Pro, Claude 3 Opus, Llama 3 70B) in June 2026; about 73% of answers failed.
Current stage
In development. We are building the OCR and extraction pipeline and preparing pilots with Kerala institutions.
Business model
On-premise licences with deployment and support for institutions, sold directly and through government procurement.
Company
Araskova Labs is a founder-owned, fully remote team in Kerala (Private Limited, DPIIT-recognised), established in 2026. We have also built Axis (gym operations software, co-developed with AI08), Cerberus (a security tool for AI agents, published on npm) and open-source tools (CUV, Aerial Canvas). Our custom software work funds the research.

Axis Most gyms still run on paper registers, reminder phone calls and spreadsheets, losing revenue from expired memberships they never chase. Axis replaces all three, works offline when the internet drops, and connects to turnstiles and electronic locks.
What it does
* QR and RFID member check-in, connected to turnstiles and electronic locks.
* Automatic WhatsApp payment reminders 5, 3 and 1 day before a plan expires, with UPI and card reconciliation.
* Trainer commission calculation, locker tracking and staff shift logs.
* Daily revenue, renewal and member drop-off figures for owners.
How it works
Edge-synced hybrid cloud; check-ins queue locally when the internet drops.
Current stage
Live.
Business model
Software licence with setup, data migration, hardware integration and staff training.
Co-developed with AI08 (ai08.in).

Cerberus AI coding agents now run commands and change code on their own, and one bad action can leak credentials or break production. Cerberus gives teams governed, auditable agent workflows on their own machines, plugging into Claude Desktop, Cursor and other agents over the Model Context Protocol.
What it does
* Rule-based policy guardrails (14 pre-loaded skills) that check every agent tool call, shell command and database migration before it runs.
* Local static code audits (AST analysis) with zero telemetry: code never leaves the machine.
* Proposes fixes as Git patches and least-privilege IAM changes for a person to review.
* Helps teams produce evidence for SOC 2 / ISO 27001 audits.
Integration
Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Claude Desktop, Cursor and other AI agents; command-line tool.
Current stage
Live. Published on npm as @araskova/cerberus (not open source).
Business model
Enterprise security audits and deployment on customers' own infrastructure.

Araskova Malayalam Assistants Citizens and staff ask questions in Malayalam, but leading AI models failed about 73% of real Malayalam administrative queries in our June 2026 benchmark. Our assistants are built Malayalam-first for local bodies, offices and colleges, and keep every document on-premise.
What it does
Answers questions in Malayalam, grounded in the institution's own documents, so staff and citizens get answers in their language instead of English or machine translation.
Who it is for
Local self-government bodies, government offices, colleges and public institutions in Kerala.
Why it is different
* Malayalam-first, evaluated on our own Malayalam benchmark (200 real administrative queries; about 73% of answers from four leading models failed in June 2026).
* On-premise: documents and questions stay on the institution's servers.
* Grounded in the institution's own documents rather than general web knowledge.
Built on
A curated Malayalam and English corpus of 47.5 million tokens (as of June 2026), checked by native Malayalam speakers.
