AARIANANTHA DESIGN SOLUTIONS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED

Seed Pellet System is a complete seedling ecosystem from Aarianantha Design Solutions for vegetable, fruit and other crops.

1. Seed pellet: a moulded pellet of coir pith and vermicompost bound with starch, with a cavity that holds the seed. The mix ratio is adjusted to the crop. The whole pellet goes into the soil with the seedling: no plastic tray, no root disturbance, less transplant shock.
2. Hand press: a low-cost, hand-operated press that lets farmers, SHGs and small nursery entrepreneurs make pellets locally from farm by-products such as coir pith.
3. Nursery unit and transplanter: a nursery arrangement for raising pelleted seedlings and a transplanter designed around the pellet shape for faster, uniform planting.
4. Commercial scale: a screw-conveyor pellet machine for high-volume production.

Status: provisional patent filed 12 Oct 2026 (Indian application 202641122017, in the company's name). A working hand-press prototype produced pellets that sprouted successfully (9 of 10 seeds; okra germinated in 2 days). Field trials are planned for Jan-Feb 2027.

Business model: sale of hand presses, commercial pellet machines and pellets; technology licensing; engineering consultancy. The pellets can also serve as a growing base for hydroponics.
