TBot™ is an India-built portable non-sputum tuberculosis triage platform intended for decentralized first-contact screening in community and primary-care environments.

The platform is designed around a durable reusable analyzer with a low-cost replaceable filtered patient interface to minimize recurring cost and workflow complexity. TBot™ aims to support TB screening programs operating in resource-constrained settings where sputum collection, centralized diagnostics, and imaging access remain challenging.

The proposed proof-of-concept program includes portable prototype development, multimodal dataset generation, phased clinical validation, and manufacturability optimization through collaborations with C-DAC, CSIR-NIIST, and the AMTZ ecosystem. The long-term objective is to enable affordable scalable deployment aligned with India’s TB elimination efforts and broader LMIC public health needs.
