There are over 7.2 billion people in this planet and each year 320 million people die of water insanity. About 3.2 billion mineral water bottles are wasted in India alone. Water insanity and plastic pollution has been the major crisis faced by our country over the past decade. Creating a solution to this crisis has been hovering over our minds ever since and that lead us into creating iBo. Our bottle is made of mainly two raw materials which are food grade silicone and BPA free PET plastic. It has a small cartridge of organic filter fitted into the cap that purifies the water, while a person drinks from it. It filters out all the impurities, including sediments, microbial organisms, bad chemicals & odor causing agents. I-Bo replenishes about 1 liter of water and makes it completely pure for drinking under BIS standards. The raw materials used for making our filter is completely made up of ground materials that will add on minerals to the filtered water while retaining its taste and freshness. On the other hand each filter capsule can be made under Rs. 10. A filter plant that can produce up to 1000 filter capsules can be set up in any domestic houses and does not require a lot of space.
