WokIN is a product aimed to replace the conventional biometric attendance system, the proposed systems will remove the biometric fingerprint-password hardware placed in entrance areas, and replace them with our sleek, non-physical contact, compactable, and responsive device. WokIN will authenticate a user using his/her smartphone. It uses the fingerprint, face recognition, passcode, iris scan mechanisms (as per authenticity purpose) that is available in all major smartphones. This two-step verification of individual enables tighter security and usability for the user. Like the conventional biometric devices, our hardware device will be placed at the entrance of the building. The working of the application is simple, user-friendly, and secure. When the user opens the app, the authentication process starts with a fingerprint detection that is previously registered. Once the initiation is done, the front camera will open to detect the user’s face for the second level of verification. These verifications are carried within seconds of time duration.
