Edusharks Block IDE developed by our inhouse research team is a google blockly inspired coding platform that helps middle, high school and college students learn physical computing and robotics without the need to worry about learning hardware programming language and syntax.
Edusharks Block IDE has an unique simulator environment that enables users to create their own virtual electronics system by connecting virtual microcontrollers, sensors and actuators and testing them with code. This helps users to experiment with their connections and soft test their code before making the physical connections and downloading code to the microcontroller.
The platform currently supports the following microcontroller boards:
1. ESP 32 Devkit
2. Raspberry PI PICO
In addition to connecting and programming microcontroller systems with various sensors and actuators, the platform supports AI features such as face detection, image classification, object detection. It also has block extensions for IoT.
Our research team is creating affordable DIY educational robot models which help young students build and learn physical computing and robotics using Edusharks Block IDE.
