Rental AI is a multi-tenant SaaS platform that digitises the complete rental business lifecycle, combining an internal business-management system for rental operators with a public, customer-facing booking marketplace. It is a two-sided platform: rental businesses run their entire operation in one place, while renters discover and book rentals online through operators' public storefronts. The product is built, production-ready, and live at rental369.com.

AI Rental Copilot (key differentiator)
An agentic AI assistant (powered by Anthropic's Claude) that performs operations from plain-English commands — drafting quotations, agreements, invoices, follow-ups, and customer communications, extracting data from documents, and answering questions across the business. All write actions require operator confirmation, ensuring control and accuracy. Usage is metered through token-based AI credits.

Revenue model (three recurring streams)

1. Subscriptions — tiered plans (Free → Pro), billed monthly/annually.
2. Per-seat billing — Pro includes 10 users; additional users are charged per seat per month.
3. AI credits — Pro includes 5,000 Copilot credits/month; usage beyond that is billed per credit. (A future stream is an optional transaction fee on online bookings.)

Technology
Built on Next.js 15, React 19, and TypeScript, with a PostgreSQL database (via Prisma ORM), NextAuth authentication, and Anthropic Claude for AI. Payments via Stripe and Razorpay; cloud-deployed on Vercel with scheduled background jobs. The architecture is fully multi-tenant with per-company data isolation, role-based access control (owner/manager/employee/viewer), multi-branch support, audit logging, and encrypted sensitive data.

Maturity
A production-grade platform (~196K lines of code, 280+ API endpoints, multi-tenant from the ground up), already deployed and live — past prototype and ready for market. The grant will fund go-to-market, pilot onboarding, a native mobile app, and continued AI enhancement.
